Hendrik Mägar

(b. in 1989)

is an Estonian film editor whose creative focus is primarily on fiction features and feature-length documentaries. His editing style is subtle, personal, and emotional.

He graduated from the Baltic Film, Media, and Arts School (BFM) with a BA in film editing in 2012 and an MA in 2015.

Hendrik has edited 11 feature-length projects, including 4 fiction films, 4 documentaries, and 3 TV series. His most well-known works include the award-winning “Smoke Sauna Sisterhood” (directed by Anna Hints), “Driving Mum” (directed by Hilmar Oddsson), and “A Loss of Something Ever Felt” (directed by Carlos E. Lesmes).

Hendrik has won two EFTA (Estonian Film and Television Awards) awards for Best Editing: for “The Days That Confused” (2017) and “A Loss of Something Ever Felt” (2021).

Jaak Ollino jr.

(b. in 1985)

is an Estonian film editor, born in the small town of Viljandi. Since 2008 he has solidified his mark in Estonian and international productions of fiction films, documentaries and commercials. Having concluded his Bachelor studies in Tallinn University in 2013, he set his sights on improving the skill professionally and subsequently graduated from Norwegian Film School in 2017 with a MFA in film editing. Many of the documentaries and feature films showcasing his work have participated in several international festivals. Some of the recent works include feature films “8 Views of Lake Biwa” (2024), “Dark Paradise” (2023) and a documentary film “Vertical Money” (2024).
